The grip model depends on the particular sword model. Usually it’s two or more sections separated by chirurgical steel rings. The grip is usually covered in genuine lether, textured for a better grip and covered in a thin layer of beeswax. A common motif in the witcher swords is a wire weaving patern, made of copper or silver. Sometimes I use more exotic materials, such as mantis or shark leather.
